cafeToolbox was originally the home for a series of Froogle and Google Base feed generators for Cafepress.com shop owners. When Google discontinued allowing shopkeepers to upload their own feeds and shut down most all of the existing feeds that were uploaded, cafeToolbox lost its primary purpose.
There is no longer a need to generate feeds for Google Base (because they are not allowed). However, the primary feed generator tool at cafeToolbox could be re-purposed to help shopkeepers in a different way.
The problem is determining what kind of tools are needed. That is where you come in. If you are reading this and have an idea for a tool that could help Cafepress shop owners, Zazzle shop owners, or shopkeepers at any other Print on Demand site, please submit it in the visitor comments form. Any and all ideas will be reviewed with the hope that some kind of worthwhile tool can be created that is valuable to the community.
Whether you are shopkeeper of a single tiny shop or an owner of many shops, blogs, and websites making thousands of dollars per month, you can help guide the future of cafeToolbox. No idea is bad or dumb, and even a small idea could expand into a very useful tool that will benefit many.
Ask yourself, what would make my life easier as the owner of a print on demand t-shirt store? Would getting reports of your store's products be worthwhile? What kind of reports?
Hopefully that's enough to get your creative thoughts going. I'll keep providing updates of ideas here so that you can build off of them.
